The Phantom has been around since 2007 as I mentioned earlier, or somewhere else on this site or something. Natural Selection Adventure Racing was formed and the Phantom born when the local adventure racing company (Velocity AR) decided to close up shop. We were new to the sport, loved it, and didn’t want to see it leave the Maritimes so we jumped in with both feet and hosted our first race, a 24 hour Phantom.
Since our first season we have added events and done our best to give our racers some great memories. Racers have paddled the world famous Restigouche River, climbed Mount St. Joseph in Quebec, climbed more mountains in Mount Carleton Park in NB, and waded through more beaver dams than any of us care to remember. But through it all the racers keep coming back for more and we love giving it to them.
