Seagull vs Phantom

We have a great team from ON coming out to defend their title as the winners of Race the Phantom in 2007 and again in 2008, some challenges have been made and the trash talk has started. As organizers we just want to say……BRING IT ON, GET SOME HYPE STARTED!!

The Seagulls are responsible for a great race in their neck of the woods. The Phantom and Seagull have teamed up to offer racers who step up the challenge on taking them both on a refund of $25 on each event.

They still have a couple of team spots left but their event if filling up fast and they only have enough room for 30 teams. Check them out online at www.angryseagullrace.com

Jay is a great guy and is more than willing to answer any questions you may have regarding training, racing and even offers clinics leading up to his event, you won’t be sorry

Captain Communication #1

The first Captain Communication has been sent out…..if you did not receive it and you have registered (paid) then contact me and I will get it out to you right away.

Remember, you are only guaranteed a spot in Race the Phantom once you pay your race fees. They are going up to $200 per racer on July 1st and we are looking at a SOLD OUT race, some teams may not get to play this year.

Time to put your money where your mouth is!

That’s right folks….time to commit and sign up to Race the Phantom. So far we have lots of teams saying they are coming but so far we do not have lots of teams signed up online. :(

Let’s have at least one member register online to get your spot held and just fill out the forms on the site on the Race Info page so we know how many boats you will need. Sound fair? 

Keep in mind that race fees will be going up on July 1st to $200 per racer……no exceptions. This means you must have $180 in our hands before midnight June 30th to get the discounted rate.

We were going to start sending out the Team Communications this week but since we have a serious lack of registrants we are going to hold that information back another week.
